You’re not typical. Your postpartum experience won’t be, either.
Traditional postpartum support wasn’t made for spicy moms. So, I created something that is.
Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum Hit Different When You’re Neurodivergent
At NeuroSPICY Postpartum, I work with moms who are very much not the target audience of mainstream baby books and pastel-coded birth classes. You’re not a Pinterest-perfect mama-to-be. You’re smart, overwhelmed, probably masking half the time, and starting to wonder if everyone else is either lying or high.
This is support for neurodivergent moms—ADHD, autistic, anxious, highly-sensitive, or just all-around spicy moms—moms who know that they’ll need more than breathing exercises and a hospital bag checklist to survive postpartum.
ADHD & Autism Can Make Postpartum feel like a Whole Different Beast
Here’s what some of my clients have reported…
Crying in the OB’s office because the fluorescent lights and the scratchy gown are sending your nervous system into shutdown
Rage-cleaning your entire kitchen at 1AM because you suddenly remembered you're supposed to be "nesting"
Over-researching every baby item and spending an insane amount of hours building your baby registry
Making 17 different to do lists and forgetting where you put any of them
Sensory hell from wet breast pads, super loud crying, leaking out of every orifice, blinking lights and repetitive sounds on baby toys and constant touch, touch, touch—no one tells you how much TOUCH
Hyper-fixating on baby sleep because it feels like your entire identity depends on how many hours of sleep they’re getting
Melting down because everyone keeps telling you “all new moms feel like this” and you KNOW they’re wrong because it all just seems to be easier for everyone else
Resenting your partner for trying to be helpful in a way that somehow still makes you feel more alone
There is a better way. And I can show you.
What I Offer Is Not Your Typical Postpartum Doula Support—
Because You’re Not a Typical Mom
I’m not gonna tell you to meditate or journal your way out of sensory overload. I’m here to help you:
Build a life that works with your brain, not one you’re constantly failing to keep up with
Create your Individualized Postpartum Plan (IPP)—like an IEP, but for real life as a new mom
Learn how to set boundaries and burn the ones that never served you
Rewire your routines to work with your energy, not fight against it
Co-regulate your nervous system instead of gaslighting yourself into being just another "laid-back mom"
Prepare for and tackle postpartum in a way that accounts for meltdowns, executive dysfunction, and the fact that some days your baseline is survival
You don’t need more checklists. You need a neurodivergent-friendly roadmap through this massively awesome identity shift.
Neurodivergent Motherhood Support for Moms Who Don’t Fit the Mommy Mold
I’m based in South Jersey and serve families within a 90-minute radius of Cherry Hill for placenta encapsulation.
If you’re looking for support but don’t need placenta capsules, no worries—we offer virtual services, so as long as you have Wi-Fi, we’re all set.
Whether you're pregnant for the first time or already postpartum and feeling overwhelmed (been there!), we’ll work together to create systems, strategies, and support that won’t fall apart when the baby arrives. Let’s make sure you’re set up for success—no matter where you’re at.
